The Founder’s Journey
From Silence to Sacred Storytelling
“There’s a child somewhere who feels forgotten. That child has a story. I built this so the world would be ready to listen.”
My journey begins in the spaces between families, between places, and between identities. I was a young boy watching two troubled parents trying to navigate a world they weren’t prepared for. I left my mother in search of my father, only to discover that survival sometimes means letting go of what you came looking for.
From an early age, I was on my own. But the world, in its mysterious mercy, sent me angels in the form of chosen family. I was adopted into the arms of kindness, and somewhere between the wounds and the healing, a voice began to emerge.
One of those angels was a teacher. Miss Duffy, my English teacher in Antioch, saw something in me that I hadn’t yet seen in myself. She gave me writing assignments outside of class—not for grades, but for growth. She handed me a pen and unknowingly pointed me toward this very moment.
Writing became more than expression. It became salvation.
Through heartbreak, addiction, loss, and trauma, the written word was a bridge back to myself. Through storytelling, I found a way to laugh again, to grieve properly, to forgive what was, and to create what could be. Writing didn’t just help me make sense of my story—it gave me the courage to believe it was worth telling.
3 Pyramid Productions is the culmination of that journey. It’s more than a publishing house—it’s a home for voices that have lived through the fire and come back with light. It's a place for healing, humor, depth, and connection.
And it is my deepest hope, perhaps my only true ambition, that a young soul out there—a child, a seeker, a survivor—will one day stumble into this space and realize:
"Someone built this with me in mind."
Because I did. For them. For you. For us.
Come as you are,
You are perfect.
